IE6 Memory Leaks Gone?
Sunday, June 24, 2007The news has started to spread... ( Clientside , Snook.ca , Novemberborn ). Do we dare to hope? Should we take to the streets shouting "The witch is dead!" Well if you read kb929874 you might find hope again:
This problem occurs if circular references are created in the JScript scripting code that is run on the Web page. Or, this problem may occur if closures are used in the JScript scripting code that is run on the Web page.
It's only for XP and only if clients have installed update MS07-033. Still, even though it's taken over half a decade, it's a glimmer of sunshine on an otherwise dreary landscape. :)
