I Hate Chain Letters and Blog Tagging Memes

Got tagged by Rosemary for one of those 8 things you never knew about me blog memes. Man I hate those. Of course I'm thrilled about this one, mainly because it's my first. I'm just a grumpy anti-social bastard with no friends alright? So here goes:

1. When I was 16 (living near Mundaring WA) I joined a drama group and became a juggling clown. We did fairs and kids parties. My big trick was to juggle 2 balls and an apple, taking a bite each time it came around. We were called The Mundaring Weirdos.
2. I have 5 kids and yes, I do own a TV. I never really understood that joke anyway, *70's porn voice* is it so strange to prefer love making to television?
3. My favourite author is Neil Stephenson , that guy is a genius. I loved the Baroque cycle books but I think Cryptonomicon is my favourite. My second favourite author would have to be Greg Egan , he's from Perth WA. Schild's Ladder is mind blowing.
4. I was once seriously into Quake 2 and started a Quake 2 clan called Evil Empire with some mates. I was [EvEm]_Xtro, Adrian was [EvEm]_Matmos and Rosemary was [EvEm]_Aphid. We were not very good.
   
5. I am a Principle Certified Lotus Professional in Lotus Notes R5 (circa 2001, the latest version is 8)
   
6. I spent 1.75 years as a high school English teacher before deciding I wanted to join the Web Industry.
7. I'm a cat person.
8. A big hero of mine is Spike Milligan - apart from his comedy, music, theatre, writing and his books and poetry for children, Spike Milligan was a conservationist, back way before it was fashionable to be so. I remember reading a book of his letters, he was writing to companies to complain about excess packaging. In the 70's. He was a man before his time and an absolute genius.

Anyway that's it. Hope that's ok Rose. And no I ain't gonna pass it on, this one dies with me! Muahahahahaha.
