Good and Bad Food for ADD

Friday, March 3, 2006

I been conducting some very informal experimentation on myself regarding diet. And after about 18 months here my list of good and bad foods for ADD symptom management.

The Foods

Now, I really don't know if all I'm experiencing is good health, but I don't really care. When I eat the good foods I think and focus better and that's all that matters. If I have a binge on the bad foods my brain is fried, can't seem to sit still, can't seem to hold a thought for any length of time. It's awful.

Breakfast

Here's my breakfast recipe for a happy brain day (well about 75% of the time):

I make a mixture of LSA mix (Linseed, almond meal and sunflower seed meal), Lecithin and rolled oats/oat bran or both. I keep it in a big plastic cereal tub.

I can add this to any other breakfast cereal or I add it to the following smoothy.

Put it all in a blender and blend like crazy.

Days that begin with the above are far better than days that don't.
