Calling all Queensland Web Professionals

Saturday, February 24, 2007

If you're in Queensland (or anywhere in Australia for that matter!) and you work on the Web, for the Web, by the Web, because of the Web, through the Web, a slave of the Web, or wish you could, then you should join the Australian Web Industry Association! I did and boy, did it change my life for the better *cue flashy salesman smile*.

Seriously, chapters in other states enjoy regular meet-ups and other functions where they get to listen to knowledgable speakers, share their experiences, network with colleagues. Queensland Web Professionals are missing out!

Head over to the site now and pickup a business, individual or student membership and let's party! ...ummm I mean hold professional industry events. You may also like to check out the Port80 forums where all the AWIA members hangout and chew the fat.

No Problem Miles (aka Mr 40u40)! I'm sure the 3.47 readers of this blog will get the word out pronto!
