# Someone else thinks that addEvent is just not enough. It's funny that people are discovering this only now, the sigslots library was released in 2002. Although everyone is still focused on DOM events. Signals & slots and Dojo do it better because you define your own events.

# I had a thought the other day about why DHTML is now taken so seriously: performance. Simply computers can run it fast enough now for it to be smooth and responsive.

# Of course all the pioneering work with Javascript and DHTML was done a few years ago. The Web2.0 crowd are just riding the crest of the wave, baby.

# Hey, Dave Winer agrees with me. He also thinks simple finacial tools would be great to see on the web.

A web-based accounting app for families. Such a simple idea and so totally needed by many millions of people. Quicken is getting old, and it's hard to set up and it isn't accessible over the web. When that's done, do one for small business. Along the way either get acquired by or acquire a bank to make it even easier for your users.

# Something I had never realised about ADD: An intolerance of boredom. And I realised how so many of my actions and behaviours are the result of this single symptom.
